Collaborating with the Vietnamese Students Association, South East Asian Student Association, Taiwanese Cultural Organization, Phillipine Society of Boston College, Hellenic Society of Boston College, Korean Students Association, Cuban-American Student Association, Dominican Association of Boston College, Brazilian Club of Boston College, GLBTQ Leadership Council, Hawai'i Club, Organization of
Latin American Affairs, South Asian Student Association, Irish Society of Boston College, and Nights on the Heights, Moonlight Night Market is essentially a massive intercultural night carnival in O'Neill Plaza. The event will be similar to Healthapalooza, in that there will be many individual tents, each manned by a different club on campus (most are cultural). At each tent, each club will showcase their unique cultural
foods and also a fun cultural game that attendees can play and have the chance at winning small prizes! This event will emulate traditional night markets, which are an extremely prevalent aspect of nightlife in many parts of Asia. Furthermore, it will also serve as a belated celebration of Mid-Autumn Moon Festival, an important holiday in Chinese culture as well as in many other Asian cultures. Thus, we will be giving all attendees a taste of mooncakes, an essential food to Chinese and Vietnamese culture that's also quite tasty!
