Boise State Secular Student Alliance
The purpose of the Boise State Secular Student Alliance is, by definition, is “to establish a home for, and foster acceptance of, secular students; continuously educate ourselves, the student population, and the community with regard to scientific discoveries; encourage critical thought with regard to all belief systems and philosophies of others; present a positive view of atheism, agnosticism, rationalism, secularism, humanism, skepticism, and all non-religious worldviews to the community; establish relationships with other related organizations around the world to share ideas; offer debates, educational workshops, guest speakers, movie showings, a book club, open discussion, and social gatherings for Boise State University students and the surrounding community; promote and practice the open, rational, and scientific examination of the universe and our place in it; promote the view that ethics and morality can be meaningfully based on humanistic and rational values; advocate for the separation of church and state.”
