Make a difference in your community by cleaning up the Boise River after float season ends.  125,000 people float this river each year, and unfortunately, that means trash and debris collect along the river.  We will be floating the river via rafts and inflatable kayaks to pick up all the trash that can’t be accessed from the river banks.  This adventurous service project includes all the equipment and food you need to have fun and stay safe on the river. Further, you will learn about the ecology of the river and the impact your volunteerism has on water quality, wildlife, and your own community.

  • Register today.  Only 15 spots available.
  • $5 registration fee includes all food, transportation, and equipment.
  • Mandatory pre-trip meeting on Friday, Sept. 20 at 3:30 p.m. at the Outdoor Programs office in Campus Recreation.
