Fordham Experimental Theatre.
Where the "E" is key.
Fordham Experimental Theatre (FET) is the only completely student-run theatre organization on campus. From directors to actors, producers, designers, writers, and technicians, YOU, the student, get to do it all!
FET puts on two main stage productions each semester. These shows range from dramas, musicals, comedies, movie and TV show adaptions, and more. Past mainstage productions we have produced include Bob: A Life In Five Acts, Cymbeline, Get Out, and Boys Next Door.
FET is also home to four umbrella groups: Stranded in Pittsburgh Improv Comedy, Free Pizza Sketch Comedy, Fordham Stand-Up, and Black Sheep Spoken Word Poetry. Each troupe performs at least 2 shows each semester, as well as gigs at venues off-campus and in Manhattan.
In case you didn't think FET could possibly produce any more shows, we also put on our very popular Playwrights' Festival each semester, a showcase of student written original one-act plays.
Ultimately, FET strives to offer the Fordham community a unique theatre experience, pushing both audiences and club members to consider the ever-changing and boundless nature of art and theatre.
