Funding Creative and Innovative Student Projects at BC
Each year, the senior class has the opportunity—through the Senior Class Gift challenge—to earn $25,000 in grant funding to support innovative ideas and creative student projects here at the Heights. These are projects that impact the lives of others—from individuals to whole communities. Projects that inspire change, that serve others, and that exemplify what it means to be "men and women for others."
Grants are typically used to jumpstart a great idea that lacks funding or to push a partially funded idea over the top in terms of its impact. If a project needs help in order to be sustainable over time, applying for a legacy grant is a great option. Applications are reviewed by a committee of administrators and students, who will then select finalists for short interviews. Grants are awarded twice a year.
Apply for a legacy grant today, or read stories from last year's grant recipients below. Last year's grants were made possible through the inspiring work of the Class of 2014 and the generosity of Trustee Drake Behrakis '86.
