Welcome Newest NASO Member!!!
It is my honor and pleasure to welcome you to the Non-traditional Adult Student Organization (also known as NASO). NASO was organized by Dr. Esther S. Powell to assist adult students who want to resume their education and those with first time experience get acclimated into the educational/college environment at Winston-Salem State University. Like in years past, we will continue to uphold the principles that Dr. Powell established for this organization, and we will continue to grow the organization into the future. I am hoping this year will be one of NASO’s best!!!

In addition to assisting you with the transition to college life, NASO provides community service projects that allows us to volunteer some of our time to helping others. We also provide fundraising and social events which allows you the members to display your networking abilitiy, work expertise, and fellowship with your NASO community.

We need YOU to continue to make this organization the best it can be.  I know you will bring something great to NASO, whether it be a positive word of encouragement for everyone, a can do attitude, or insight about life. This organization was created for you and your input is vital for NASO’s success. I am looking forward to working with you this year.  Together we can take NASO to the next level!!!

Sincerely,

Patrick Lancaster
NASO President 2017-2018
