Announcements   

The Diversity Dialogue-Islamic Culture FAITH Lyceum for Monday, October 27th is canceled.  The event will be rescheduled in November, please stay tuned for event date, time, and location.

Black Student Union  will be in the Caf next week, November 3rd-7th from 11 am-1 pm, holding signups for their 4th Annual Talent Show on December 8th.

Mark Your Calendar! Relay for Life will be on April 10, 2015. That may seem far away, but we need to start fundraising ahead of time to reach our goal of raising $10,000! Student Government Association Honor Council's Gate of Hate and Gate of Hope will be posted outside of the Caf this week from 11 am-1 pm.  These walls help us kick-off Stop the Hate Week, which will be November 3rd-6th. 

Call for music! The Modern Languages Department will be hosting an event (coming soon!) showcasing music from around the world. Please submit songs that would represent what's popular in other countries. Submit all song suggestions to Amy Rangel (am.rangel@wingate.edu) by November 2nd.

If you need to complete your language requirement or really want to up your Spanish skills in an immersion environment, consider Spanish 103 to Costa Rica! This class covers Spanish 101 and 102 combined in the spring semester as well as 3 weeks in Costa Rica! Spanish classes, staying with a Costa Rican family, airfare, and excursions such as visiting hot springs, rainforests, and volcanoes are included in the $3,200 program fee.
