The Services and Activities Fee Committee (SAF) builds budgets for various organizations, programs, activities, and services on campus. The SAF Committee meet throughout the academic year to review and recommend funding for programs, activities, and services that directly benefit UW Bothell students (e.g. student government, childcare vouchers, club activities, cultural events, etc.). The committee is responsible for the oversight and awarding of over $1,000,000 each year. This is a volunteer position. Members must be be available to attend morning meetings from September to June.

Description

Members of the SAF Committee meet throughout the academic year to review and recommend funding for programs, activities, and services that directly benefit UW Bothell students. The committee is responsible for the oversight and awarding of over $1,000,000 each year.

The committee meets to build budgets for the next academic year through the SAF Annual Budget Requests. Requests for the current academic year are funded through the contingency process. These must be new initiatives that demonstrate a benefit for the students, campus, and community as a whole.

When requesting budgets, please indicate if you are requesting funds from SAF's annual or contingency budgets.
