Apr 20, 2017 by Molly Gagnon

Pullman, WA, – For the first time in Student Entertainment Board (SEB) history, three sold-out concerts were hosted at WSU: Marshmello, Lil Yachty, and Khalid. As ticket sales continue to climb for this weekend’s Springfest, this annual event was bestowed the 2016 national award for “West Best Annual Event” through the National Association for Campus Activities.

Natasha Baron, director of SEB, shares how the success is contributed to each executive member leading with passion, heart, and a true sense of community.

“Our reason for existence is to create a vibrantly enriching college experience, and each member is fully committed.” – Natasha Baron

SEB reaches beyond entertainment. During the 2016 WSU Homecoming Week, $9,000 was raised through various events, crushing the previous record by $2,000. Most recently, the Seattle Pride Foundation received $4,000 in donations from the Drag Show hosted in the beginning of April.
