2013 Envision CFJ Registration

Envision CFJ

How will you spend this year?  What are your goals for your CFJ leadership?  What ways do you hope your community will grow?  What inspires you to do the work of faith, ministry, service, and justice at Xavier?

Spend the day with the CFJ to ask these questions and more.  Known in the past as the CFJ Day Away or CFJ Community Day, Envision CFJ is an opportunity to spend time in intentional reflection with leaders across the CFJ, to get educated about important, pertinent issues in our collective work , and to build on the passion that drives you… so that you can do, all that you do, even better in the coming year.

This year, join us on Saturday, September 7th to explore the concept of radical hospitality as it relates to our campus community. Meet at Buenger Circle at 8:30 am.  We will spend the morning at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, challenged by the stories of leaders who have changed the world.  We will spend the afternoon at Awaken the City, a United Methodist Church in the heart of OTR, as we explore the stories of our personal communities and look at how we can build circles of welcome and hospitality on campus. You will return to campus, inspired and well-fed (lunch and dinner are provided) by 8 pm.

Inspire your leadership.  Envision your community.  Launch into this fall.

Cost: $0, just your commitment.
