Welcome to the International Business Association

at The University of Akron!

We meet every other Wednesday from 7:15-8:15 pm in the College of Business and Administration (CBA) Room 139. Our next meeting is on October 24th. At this meeting, we will be meeting at 4:00 pm (instead of 7:15 pm) and traveling to Case Western Reserve University to hear from a speaker! 1. To familiarize its members with international business practices;

2. To increase understanding of the international business environment for the benefit of other interested groups

3. Collect and disseminate information with respect to:
 a. International internship opportunities;
 b. International exchange programs;
 c. Company recruiting efforts for international jobs;
 d. Visits, speeches, roundtables, presentations on international business

4. Arrange for roundtables, speeches, presentations and seminars, on international business issues from business  executives and academicians

5. Bring together future employees with potential employers

6. Provide the opportunity for American students to come in contact with foreign students and vice versa
