Welcome to Engineers Without Borders (EWB) OrgSync!

Akron Engineers Without Borders is a student led organization and branch of the Northeast Ohio Professional Chapter and Engineers Without Borders-USA. Our vision is a world in which the communities we serve have the capacity to sustainably meet their basic human needs. Today, more than two billion people lack access to the most basic things -- clean drinking water, adequate sanitation, reliable passage to local markets and more. Members consist of both undergraduate and graduate students of ANY major from The University of Akron who are driven by the ability to help local communities as well as communities around the world. Our students tend to excel academically and use their talents and expertise in specific areas to make a difference. Our members have also shared that involvement with Engineers Without Borders has been beneficial when discussing it on their resume with employers.

We hope that you will choose to become involved with our chapter today and begin making a positive impact for many generations to come!
