The SHIELD Scholars Program, sponsored by Phillips 66, is an exciting opportunity that provides educational support and professional development opportunities to students in the College of Business Administration and College of Engineering. SHIELD Scholars receive a substantial academic scholarship, as well as the opportunity to participate in monthly enrichment activities, communicate regularly with a Phillips 66 mentor and have the potential to complete an internship at Phillips 66.

Requirements for application:

  • Student must be a full time student, who will be a Jr. or Sr. during fall 2015
  • Committed to a major in Business Administration (Accounting, Finance, MIS) or Engineering (Computer and Information Sciences, Electrical, Civil, Computer, Chemical, Mechanical, Materials)
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.25
  • Demonstrated leadership and involvement in student and professional organizations
  • Strong interest in potential career in energy industry
