United Way will be coming to Dixie State University for a Food Packaging event on February 13th, 2018. We will be teaming up with community partners to provide volunteers to hand package meals for SwitchPoint Resource Center!

Come join the DSUSA Alternative Breaks Program for dinner next Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 5-9 p.m. at the Panda Express on N. Red Cliffs Drive. We are raising funds for the two disaster relief trips we will be taking this spring break. Come get some good food, and support our trips! We would greatly appreciate all of the support!

Children's Museum Clean Up

We are partnering with the St. George Children's Museum to kick off the semester with a fresh start, so come have fun cleaning the museum and enjoy some free pizza! We will meet at the Holland roundabout at 5:30 pm for those in need of a carpool. Make sure to wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

DSUSA Blood Drive

Dixie State Students as well as community members are encouraged to sign up to donate blood for the thousands of people in the United States that need blood daily. This Blood Drive is one way that Dixie State and St. George will be giving back to those in need.

Spring Break Informational Meeting

This will be the first informational meeting for the upcoming alternative spring break trips. We will be taking one trip to Houston, TX and another trip to Puerto Rico. Both trips will take place from March 10-17, and the service will be disaster relief focused. We are taking 10 students on each trip.

Dixie State Blood Drive Tuesday November 14th!

Dixie State Student Government and American Red Cross are hosting a blood drive tomorrow (Tuesday November 14th) from 9 am - 2 pm. This is a great opportunity for those who have been looking for a way to help out after the many tragedies these past few months. The need for blood is constant and one donation can save 3 lives. The blood drive will be held in the Gardner Center Ballroom.  Please be sure to bring your drivers license for your donation.

This is our semi-annual Canpus to Community event, our largest service project of the semester. This semester we are partnering with Conserve Southwest Utah to aid in conservation efforts for our very own Red Cliffs Reaerve. Volunteers will assist in a cleanup effort for a portion of the Red Cliffs Reserve that stretches along Red Hills Parkway (from Pioneer Park to Snow Canyon Parkeay).

All volunteers will be provided breakfast the morning of and receive a t-shirt.

DSUSA Service, Dixie Serves and United Way Dixie are partnering up to help improve literacy in Southern Utah by hosting a book donation in exchange for breakfast and fun. We are asking for new books, or like-new books, to donate to local elementary schools. Anyone who donates will receive a breakfast as thanks, and enjoy children's reading from special guests.
