We are so glad you decided to stop by and check out our Pre-Veterinary Club website. By using this site and becoming a member you will be tapped into everything that goes on in this club whether it’s fundraising events, shadowing possibilities, weekly meetings or any of our other great opportunities! So please join if you are interested and welcome to our pre-vet community!
This APVMA sponsored club allows students interested in veterinary medicine and animal care to get together to discuss pertinent issues regarding veterinary school admissions, animal care topics, animal health, and the political and social aspects regarding these fields. This organization will feature guest speakers and field trips to both local clinics and veterinary school admission offices throughout the year. We will work on standing volunteer, job, and internship opportunities in related fields for students with organizations like shelters and rescues, zoos and aquariums, vet clinics and more. We will fundraiser for local shelters as well as volunteer at local shelters and animal sanctuaries. Around spring break we will travel together to North Carolina University for the two-day Pre-veterinary symposium.

How does your organization live out the mission of DePaul?
This mission statement embodies the principal purposes of DePaul University. As such it is the nexus between past, present and future; the criterion against which plans are formulated and major decisions made; the bond which unites faculty, students, staff, alumni, and trustees as an academic community. As a university, DePaul pursues the preservation, enrichment, and transmission of knowledge and culture across a broad scope of academic disciplines. It treasures its deep roots in the wisdom nourished in Catholic universities from medieval times. The principal distinguishing marks of the university are its Catholic, Vincentian, and urban character.
DePaul Prevet Club exists to connect all students pursuing a career in animal care or veterinary medicine.
