Update Your Organization's Information for the 2018-2019 Academic Year

Happy ORG New Year! On July 15, all OrgSync portals belonging to Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) were reset. This means it is time to update your organization’s information for the 2018-2019 academic year. Normally, this process begins on July 1; however, the failed OrgSync to Engage migration delayed our timeline for the current year. On behalf of the Organization Resource Group and the Engage Implementation team, we apologize for the inconvenience. 

Please update the OrgSync profile by completing a registration request. We ask the organization's leadership to do this at your earliest convenience and to re-submit a request each time the organization’s officer information changes.

Updating the organization’s OrgSync profile is one of the two annual requirements to maintain the organization’s status as a Recognized Student Organization.

Organizations will not be able to make room reservations until a registration request has been approved.

There are three items to note about registration requests:

  1. To complete a registration request, an individual must have Administrative Access to the portal. This access can be granted by someone who already has that access to your organization’s portal. The Organization Resource Group (ORG) may also grant this access.
  2. When the registration request is submitted, the organization’s advisor will automatically be sent an email prompting them to approve the submitted information. The advisor must approve this submitted information before ORG can review the submission.
  3. To have a request approved by ORG, Recognized Student Organizations primarily supported by the Organization Resource Group must upload a constitution that meets these requirements*. Please note certain items need to be listed in verbatim. The requirements have changed slightly since last year, so please pay close attention to the Constitution Checklist.
    • *Organizations primarily supported by the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life or the Mizzou Club Sports Federation may have different requirements as shared by those specific entities.

Registration requests submitted or approved prior to July 15, 2018, will not satisfy the annual requirement for the 2018-2019 academic year. All pending or deferred requests submitted prior to July 15 have been denied.
