Hunger Clean-Up 2014
Saturday, April 12, 2014, 8:00am-1:30pm
UWM students, faculty, and staff will participate in cleaning up the homes of local elderly residents. Specifically, volunteers will be helping local elderly residents by doing tasks such as taking out storm windows, cleaning patios, raking leaves, and clearing garden beds. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to participate in a neighborhood clean-up. Lunch is provided afterwards and transportation is provided for those that need it.
This is a great opportunity to volunteer as an individual or with a team! Once you register, you will receive more information via email the week before this event. Please be sure to mark your calendar.
If you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 414-229-3161.
This event is sponsored by the UWM Center for Community-Based Learning, Leadership, & Research, the Neighborhood Housing Office and COAST Program and the UWM Student Association.
