Participate in The Body Project!

The Psychology Department currently recruiting male and female participants to participate in "The Body Project," a body image improvement program and research study for male and female college students. The Body Project consists of two, 2-hour sessions approximately one week apart. Each session is conducted in a small group format, led by supervised, trained peer-leaders. Participants discuss the pressures to conform to the cultural appearance ideal and explore ways to resist these pressures both as individuals and as members of the Furman community. Participants can earn up to $50 in Amazon gift cards for their participation in the group sessions and completion of follow-up assessments.
