Welcome to Anime Club
We are a club dedicated to expanding the awareness and appreciation of Japanese animation and culture.
Club Website: orgsync.com/3289
Club List Server: email@example.com
The listserver is our outdated method of disseminating meeting info and minutes, but will occasionally be used to keep our older members up on current events.
General meetings: Thursdays from 8-10 PM in Skurla 102. In our meetings, we watch various episodes from a variety of shows, usually following some sort of theme.
Bi - Weekly Marathon: Saturday and/or Sunday every other week from 10 AM till 10 PM (or midnight). We will continuously watching whole anime series, which is decided by "democratic" voting at the beginning of the marathon or after General Meeting.
Newsletter: If you attend our meetings, we strongly recommend you sign up for our newletter. We send out meeting minutes which include everything we watched and everything that was nominated if we're deciding on a continuing series. This is also the primary way to keep track of when we're hosting the special events outlined below. To sign up, just join in this Anime Club portal on Orgsync.
Gundam Building Workshop: We hold a semesterly Gundam Building Workshop, and the club will sponsor the first $15 of your kit if you're a paid member (however sometimes when we have extra kits the event is free for all)
Convention Gathering: We go to anime convention as a club every academic year. We've been to Megacon, Holiday Matsuri, Otakon,... If you have any specific anime-related convention that you want to come, please share it with us
Everyone is welcome at our events and meetings!
We also have a club discord where we talk about events, meetings, anime and much much more. If you ever want to stop by just follow the link below. We welcome any and all people.
The Florida Tech Anime Club is dedicated to bring the students, faculty, and any other guests or members of Florida Tech entertainment through the experience of Japanese Anime and Manga, along with Japanese Otaku Culture.
