Join us for Understanding Pain, Opioids, & Addiction on Nov. 9 from 12-1pm in MET 124-125. Dr. Don Teater of Teater Health Solutions will be delivering the presentation via Skype. The objectives of this workshop are to: 

1.            Understand the dangers of opioids used for pain.
2.            Understand why emotional trauma increases the risk of abuse and addiction to opioids.
3.            Understand the relative effectiveness of different treatments for acute and chronic pain.

This event will be open to all faculty, staff, and students.

Lunch will be served on a first come, first serve basis.
