Portal Information

USITT Chapman is the Chapman University branch of the national organization of USITT (United States Institute of Theatre Technology). We are also affiliated with TEA (Themed Entertainment Association), promoting education in both live entertainment, theatre, and theme park design.

USITT Chapman is a place for Chapman students who are interested in becoming a part of the entertainment industry. Students in our chapter work not only in theatre, but also in dance, film, and music. USITT Chapman provides a great educational environment to learn, network, and have fun!

You DO NOT need to be a theatre technology major to join. You may be an actor who likes costumes, an English major who likes working backstage, a computer science major who likes sound production. If you are seriously interested in learning about theatre technology, this is the group for you!

USITT Chapman is here for you! If there is a specific type of event that you want to see or host, tell us! USITT Chapman's goal is to ensure that we are promoting all types of entertainment technology education.
