Welcome to Florida Institute of Technology's home of the National Society of Black Engineers! We are excited that you made the decision to join NSBE. We are open, but not limited to any student at F.I.T. who is pursuing a degree in engineering, engineering technology, or applied/physical science programs, including pre-med.

National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), founded in 1975 at Purdue University, is one of the largest student-run organizations in the US, centered on improving the recruitment and retention of African-American engineering students. NSBE's mission is "to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community."
