The Student Government Association represents and promotes student interest in the decision-making process of Samford University by cultivating and maintaining leadership among students. The SGA also develops, coordinates, and executes activities and services for the benefit of the students.
SGA Senate serves as the “voice” of Samford students, allocating funds to student organizations and initiating resolutions that seek to create positive change on campus. One of the ways Senate advocates through their constituents is by completing a constituent report.
A Constituent Report is to be filled out by either a member of the student body or by a SGA Senator on behalf of a constituent. This form is meant to allow members of the student body to more easily alert the SGA Senate of an issue, concern, or suggestion on campus.
