Our mission at W.R.I.T.E. is to provide a community for students who are aspiring writers of fiction, poetry or theatrical pieces. Whether you are a seasoned writer, a novice or somewhere in-between, we welcome you. We believe that through the open exchange of ideas and active interaction our members can become better creative writers.

If you are interested in joining our group please send an E-MAIL to iWRITE@ymail.com. Please include why you want to join and what type(s) of creative writing you enjoy writing. Membership requires that you regularly attend meetings. We do not accept "OrgSync Only" members who do not attend the meetings. There are NO MEMBERSHIP DUES!

Statement

Does your organization have a mission statement, catch phrase, or other marketing description? Information provided here may be used in university publications, websites, or other materials.

Members and leaders of the WRITE RSO exemplify diversity by providing an opportunity for all interested students of every age, ethnicity, creed, and ability to share and develop their creative work in a supportive community of writers. Members collaborate in a writing workshop format to share ideas and feedback with other writers in the group with the intention of learning from fellow members and improving their writing skills in the pursuit of excellent creative writing that can be published and shared in other forums. WRITE is an ethical community that values the dignity of each member and visitor; therefore, fairness and respect are guiding principles when conducting meetings or activities, and in any interactions with other Ferris entities or the surrounding community.
