Alzheimer's Disease - One of the Things I'd Like to Forget

Ms. Spahn is a Regional Director of the Alzheimer's Association -  Greater West Michigan Chapter. She has over 30 years of experience working with older adults with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. This presentation will provide an oveerview of Alzheimer's disease and other conditions that cause demetia. Topics will include the number of people impacted, risk factors, warning signs, changes in the brain, diagnosis, and treatment. Additional information will be shared on the impact of caregivers, financial implications, brain health, and whether this is a preventable disease.
