Welcome Message from our President
Welcome to the East Carolina University Interfraternity Council website. We hope that this site provides you with an easy way of gathering information and insight into East Carolina’s Greek Life.
East Carolina University is a university dedicated to a strong set of principles that define and guide the student body. The community on and surrounding the campus is one united under the East Carolina. Greek Life is a vibrant part of this atmosphere and continues to be a strong contributor to our University.
The Greek community is dedicated to academic achievement. Chapters work with the IFC and within their own membership to create and employ academic plans for their members. We are always working towards higher academic achievement and the IFC continues to help facilitate that achievement.
The Greek community is dedicated to involvement. Members take part in various leadership programs and are members of numerous campus organizations and societies. Fraternities promote their members to engage in some of the many opportunities that are offered at East Carolina in order to represent their chapter well.
ECU Greek Life is dedicated to service. Each chapter hosts philanthropy events to benefit worthy causes, and promotes its members to participate in other Greek organizations’ philanthropy events to strengthen their causes. In addition to these Greek sponsored events, individual members participate in outside service organizations in order to give back to the community.
We, as the fraternity members of East Carolina’s Greek Life, seek to embody all of these facets of Greek life. We hold ourselves to high standards, and are always working towards exceeding expectations. The community that we are a part of is a meaningful part of East Carolina University. We hope that you will be intrigued by what we have to offer and join us as a member of our Greek community.
