AG Awareness Day

To promote agriculture through displays and presentations.  There will be a petting zoo, mechanical bull, and camel rides; funding permitted.  There will be music, creamery ice cream and a basket raffle.  Local producers will come to promote their agribusinesses.

Ag Club will be hosting a line dance open to the whole campus. No experience needed, just come out and join us for a boot stomping good time.

Animal Aid

Reflecting Pond

Duck Regatta- Save the Duck Campaign, RUBBER ducks will be sold along with Penn State Altoona Ag Club's Basket Raffle for $1 to aid the any injured ducks on campus. Ducks will then be released into the Reflecting Pond, to create a race. The first three ducks to cross the finish line (sides of pond, or other boundary) win gift cards. All other money will be given to Animal Aid for injured ducks and wildlife on campus.

Ag Club is requesting that we have maintenance aid us with hanging our Ag Awareness Day  2012 posters inside of Slep Center (Center where there are two hooks.) The other banner we want outside of Slep Center in the grass with two wood poles aiding it to stand.

Animal Aid Rubber Duck Sale

Raising money in aid to injured ducks and other wildlife on campus. Students, faculty and staff may purchase rubber duckies, $1 for one duck. All proceeds are going to the Duck Regatta, Animal Aid. This raffle is along with Penn State Altoona Ag Clubs Basket Raffle.

Penn State Altoona Ag Club Presents: Ag Awareness Day 2012 W.T.F? Where's the food without the farmer?

Join us in through an educational experience learning about todays modern day agriculture with students from Penn State Altoona, speakers in agriculture, and interactive events. Chris Ruble will be playing country music cover songs. FREE CREAMERY ICECREAM! We'll also have a petting zoo with farm animals! Come and join the fun!

Ag Club Basket Raffle

Ag Club is presenting a Basket Raffle as a means for fundraising. We will be collecting tickets for the baskets starting on March 27,28,29 and then on April 3,4,and 5. Tickets for the raffle will be $1/  ticket $5/ 3 tickets and $10/ arms length. We will close the registration for the raffle on April 5th and proceed with the drawing during the Ag Awareness Day. The Drawing will be at the close of the program on April 10th.
