New Student Orientation
Welcome to San Antonio College! New Student Orientation (NSO) is mandatory for all First Time in College students and must be completed to register for classes. It will include sessions covering topics like Preparing for Your Academic Journey, Beyond the Classroom: Student Engagement, a Campus Resource Fair, a Campus Tour Group Advising and provide you with all the tools you need to register for your classes.
The following enrollment steps must be completed before you select an orientation session to attend:
Proof of Bacterial Meningitis vaccination (if under 22 only)
Alamo Enroll modules (Go FAARR)
Testing Requirement (TSI), if applicable
Required post-assessment advising (located in FAC 105)
If you have completed ALL of the above steps, you may register for an NSO. Students are required to stay for the entire length of the NSO they choose. Space is limited for each session, so please RSVP 48 hours prior to ensure your spot. For additional information please contact us (210) 486-0125.
All NSOs will begin the Loftin Student Center. Click here for the campus map. Visitor parking on campus is limited, so we suggest you arrive early. Parking is also available on streets near campus.
Weekday and Saturday Sessions: 7:30 am - 2:00 pm.
Registration begins @ 7:15 am.
Evening Sessions: 6:00 pm- 9:00 pm.
Registration begins @ 5:15 pm.
*Note: Evening sessions do not include meals or campus tour.
