Zeta Tau Alpha is a social organization that focuses on sisterhood, philanthropy, academics, networking, and molding its members in to well-rounded women. We strive to excel both on the Lamar University campus and within the community and represent the national ZTA organization in a positive way.

Membership Criteria

The members of Zeta Tau Alpha are taught through our creed, to see the good in everyone and everything, to be a well-rounded individual, excelling in academics, service, and sisterhood, and to always prepare for service thereby earning the right to be served. Our members take pride in volunteering and hosting many philanthropy and service projects throughout the year benefiting the community at large and the Susan G. Komen foundation, which fights to discover a cure for breast cancer. Our members must also uphold high academic standards and achievements.

In addition to honorable characteristics and a yearning for service, our members learn to network throughout the organization through alumni, students, etc. which can benefit them over the course of their future.
Overall, this organization strives to makes its members a symphony of high ideals and stands strongly upon the foundation of love: the greatest of all things.
