This event will allow members to provide much-needed love and care to orphaned animals at a no-kill rescue animal shelter. The goal is to assist with cleaning, interacting with the animals, general landscaping, and organization. Close-toed shoes are required, since most of the work will be done outside. MAC Food Pantry Event - Sunday, October 1st from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Good afternoon! The Midtown Assistance Center (MAC) needs volunteers to help unpack food into the food pantry for their huge annual food drive. MAC is an interfaith non-profit working to prevent hunger and homelessness in Atlanta.

Tri-Beta Fall 2017 Trip

This year we will be going to the Botanical Gardens on October 7th, 2017. We will be receiving a guided tour on the exhibits. The tour will begin at 10 AM, and it will last for 1 hour and 15 minutes. The first 10 people will pay $10 dollars (original value is $22.95).

Habitat for Humanity Build Day Success!

Good afternoon all! The Habitat Build Day was a huge success and a lot of fun last weekend! Around 40 volunteers helped to make huge strides towards completion of the home. We worked alongside the Home Buyer to help complete the roof and siding on the house. Thank you to the members who participated! We had a great time and helped to make a difference for a wonderful family.

Medical Mission Trip to Honduras May 2017

Tri-Beta is Partnering with the GSU Chapter of Global Brigades to provide members with the opportunity to travel to a developing country and provide medical services to underprivileged communities in Honduras. Our Distinguished Speaker for this meeting is Dr. Gertrud Rey, Patent Agent at Pabst Patent Law. 

Discover what you can do in the legal field with a biology degree! Dr. Rey earned her Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry from Georgia State University in 2007. She is currently a patent agent focuses in the areas of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. We will have pizza and refreshments.
