The purpose of the club is to educate, inform, and prepare members for a career in pharmacy, pharmacology research, or medicinal chemistry. By interaction with various distinguished guest speakers, volunteer events, internships, and shadowing opportunities, we help our members to explore the exciting and expansive field of pharmacy. We encourage our members to be involved in our community. Not only does the Pre-Pharmacy Professional Society help members strive to achieve academically and professionally, but our organization also offers support and social interaction through our club meetings, socials, and Facebook group.

Organization Purpose Statement

We are a student organization created by the pre-pharmacy students of Georgia State University. The purpose of the club is to prepare members for admission into pharmacy school. By interaction with various distinguished guest speakers, we help expose members to the pharmacy field. We encourage our members to be involved in the community by offering volunteer opportunities. Not only does the pre-pharmacy club help members strive academically, but the club also offers support and social interaction through club meetings and social gatherings.

Selection Process

If your organization has selective membership, please describe the selection process.

Members must pay $15 dues and attend a minimum of 3 meetings per semester to be considered an active member.

Are members required to pay dues to particpate?

Yes

If YES, include the cost of dues and how often they must be paid.

$15 for new members
$10 for returning members (Must have attended 3 meetings each semester and paid dues the previous semester to be "returning")
