Women's Leadership Registration (Fall 2013)
Women’s Leadership is designed to help undergraduate women further their leadership skills, provide a forum for discussion on women’s issues, and to examine characteristics of women in leadership.
Each section of the Women’s Leadership program will have about 8-12 Northeastern female students, who are upperclassmen students, and two facilitators. There are eight sessions which are an hour and a half each. Topics Include:
- Gender Identity
- Leadership Strengths
- Beauty and Effortless Perfectionism
- Women’s Issues around the Globe
- History of Women’s Rights
- Sexual Assault
- Role Models
Participation in Women’s Leadership gives you the opportunity to learn more about yourself, about womens issues, and about female leaders. It also connects you with other students who are interested in learning about women in leadership. This is one of our more advanced programs and therefore it is essential that participants are women who have already completed their first year of college.
