|Welcome to Africana Theater Lab where practice makes permanent! Africana Theater Laboratory is a student organization based on the idea of “Africana”. Africana means we project black stories, black culture, and black presence on the American stage as a vital part of the American culture. With that being said, this organization does not exclude non African Americans.|
ATL acts as a sanctuary for under represented performers to come together and explore theatre. We utilize our talents and skills to critique, calling for change towards a more progressive society. We provide practical experience for our members by annually providing a space for new works of Art. Overall ATL is a place to experiment with your talents. After all practice makes permanent.
