UCF Racquetball Club creates racket at rec center For members of the UCF Racquetball Club, its Saturday tournament at UCF’s Recreation and Wellness Center was slightly less competitive than the club’s March trip to Tempe, Arizona, where they took home five medals in the 2015 National Intercollegiate Championships. While diving the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida, Aliris Loperena spots a nurse shark 15 feet below. Carefully and quietly, she swims to meet the 8- to 10-foot carnivorous fish. A breezy and calm shoreline juxtaposed with a high stakes national tournament is what most recently faced our Kiteboarding team this past week at the CKA National Tournament in North Carolina. Congratulations to the Wrestling team who brought home 5 All-Americans and 4th place overall in the NCWA National tournament. The team made their way back from Allen, TX competing in a three day tournament where they wrestled to fight for their individual and team titles. The Wrestling team is quickly wrapping up their season with their last home event and national qualifying event this past weekend. They took home the title and became the 2014-15 South East Conference champions! BREAKING NEWS Holly Springs, NC in turmoil this weekend (1/25/15) as a pack of ferocious animals tore through the local college of University of North Carolina.
