Involvement Fair Registration: Fall 2019

Thank you for your interest in registering for the Involvement Fair.  

This event will occur on Wednesday, September 4 from 2pm-5pm in the Jordan Ballroom of the Boise State University, Student Union.  Registration requests must be submitted by September 1 to be considered.  

Group setup will begin at 10:30am. There is no fee to register for the event.  Each registered group will be provided one 6' long table and two chairs...

Philosophy Department Open House

Visit with philosophy faculty and students and solve puzzles and games to learn about the subject in a fun way to illustrate themes in logic, metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics. You will be able to ask faculty members and seasoned students about the nature of philosophy and the benefits of a Philosophy major or minor for your future plans. Try out the Rec Center Adult Swim Classes for free this week! There will be a Beginner level class on Tuesday 1/15 and Thursday 1/7, from 5:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. and an Intermediate level class on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:35 p.m. - 6:05 p.m. Regular registration begins with Session 1 on Tuesday, 1/22. There is also a Saturday session that begins on 1/19.

Hi Hunter, thanks for your question. Student Involvement doesn't currently provide class credit for this; however, you might talk to your professor(s) and see if they might consider giving student credit for attending.

@BibianaOrtiz Thank you for asking this question. When participants are selected, we will email out an acceptance form with a space for preferred gender pronouns. Listed pronouns will be printed on participant name badges. Thanks for submitting your pre-registration!
