Who can come?
Everyone! No matter what your sexual or gender identities, we would love to have you! We welcome both enrolled students and members of the community who aren't enrolled.

What's our purpose?
To provide a safe environment in which members of the LGBTQ community of WSU, and its allies, can have an opportunity to share experiences, concerns, and ideas.

What is Spectrum?
It is a group for Wichita State's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community and lgbtq allies.

Who can come?
Everyone! Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Trans, Questioning, Queer, Asexual and Allies. Both enrolled students and members of the community who aren't enrolled.

What's our purpose?
By providing a safe space for discussion, activism, and education, we seek to promote equality for all members of the gender identity and sexuality spectrums.

Spectrum meets regularly when school is in session--you can find us every Thursday night at 7:00pm on the 2nd floor of the Rhatigan Student Center (rooms change weekly, so check our website for specific location: www.wichita.edu/spectrum). The door is open, so feel free to come and go as your schedule allows. Most meetings last about an hour and a half. We'll see you there!

Membership is open to any Wichita State University student, faculty, staff, or community member. In order to be considered a member, an individual must attend no less than three (3) meetings, and after such time, request membership and continue to regularly attend meetings or maintain communication with the officers. Voting membership and candidacy for the President, Vice President and Treasurer are limited to WSU students. Membership will not be denied to any person because of of race, color, religion, gender, age, marital status, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, political affiliation, disabled/Vietnam-era veteran status or physical or mental disability.
