The Girl Scouts of America are currently looking for volunteers from the Greek community of Lamar to help assist with their annual cookie delivery. The volunteer opportunity mainly consists of loading cookies into vehicles for transport. The Girl Scouts will provide breakfast and lunch for all volunteers and they ALWAYS provide each fraternity/sorority with a basket full of cookies as a thank you. Last year the event was covered by the media, so this is an excellent chance for the Greeks of Lamar to be highlighted for their volunteer efforts.

The delivery will take place on February 15th, 2014 at St. Mark's downtown on the corner of Calder and Pearl. Their are two shifts available to work starting with the first group from 8 am - 12 pm and the second group from 12 pm - 4 pm.

This is a great way for your fraternity/sorority to earn volunteer hours,

while helping out the Girl Scouts of America!
