Student Organization Presidents and Advisors Meetings
All presidents and advisors of registered LU student organizations must attend one of the following meetings with the Office of Student Organization Services:
- Wednesday, Sept. 20, 4 pm - 5 pm --OR--
- Thursday, Sept. 21, 6 pm - 7 pm
- 6th floor, Mary & John Gray Library
Attendees will receive important updates on policies and procedures for student organizations at Lamar University. To reserve your spot, visit lamar.edu/studentorgs.

Cardinal Family Weekend

Cardinal Family Weekend is a great opportunity for families to reconnect with their students and see first-hand what their life is like at Lamar University. Homecoming Parade Registration

"Think About It" Online Training
- Opens: Friday, September 22
- Deadline to Complete: Sunday, October 22
Think About It, an online substance & sexual abuse prevention training program, prepares students to confront and prevent serious campus problems. Our program delivers Title IX and Campus SaVe Act training with a non-judgmental approach.
All new students (first semester at Lamar University) must complete the online program between September 22, 2017 – October 22, 2017. All new students will receive an email from Lamar University with a unique link that will allow you to access the Think About It program. Each new student must complete the Think About It program to be eligible for the Spring 2018 course registration.

Flu Vaccines Available
- Begins: Monday, September 25
- Times: 3 pm - 5 pm, Monday - Friday
The Student Health Center is offering flu vaccines for students, faculty, and staff. Call 409-880-8466 to make your appointment today! Vaccines are $25, which can be added to your student account. Students with Academic Health Plan insurance will be covered at 100%. Visit lamar.edu/healthcenter to learn more about services at the Student Health Center.
