Today - Event Planning 101

Want to learn more about the best places on campus to hold your organization's next meeting, ceremony, or party? Attend today's session, "The Who, What, Where, & When of Campus Programming" at 1 pm in the Landes Auditorium.


Blood Drive Ends Friday
Ends: Friday, Feb. 3
Hospitals across the country are in crisis due to a major blood shortage. Do your part and donate blood today at the LifeShare Blood Drive! The LifeShare Bus is parked between the Brooks-Shivers Dining Hall and Cardinal Village today until 3 pm and tomorrow from 9 am to 1 pm.


Career Forums and Spring Career Fair
Dates: Feb. 7 & 28, March 2
Attend the Computer Science Career Forum on Feb. 7 and the Construction Career Forum on Feb. 28 to meet and network with employers and professionals in the fields of computer science, IT, and construction management. Volunteer Service Fair
Date: Tuesday, Feb. 7
Find new ways to give back to our community next Tuesday at the Volunteer Service Fair, 11 am to 1 pm in front of the Brooks-Shivers Dining Hall. Meet representatives from local non-profit agencies, and make a positive difference in 2017!


Student Leadership Conference
Deadline: Thursday, Feb. 9

Academic Preview Day LU Cardinal View Day
Deadline: Friday, Feb. 10
Calling all student organizations! Show your LU pride and greet tomorrow's Cardinals at the Student Organization Fair on Saturday, Feb. 18. Sign up by Friday, Feb. 10 to be eligible for great prizes!


Food Fest Registration Open
Deadline: Friday, Feb. 10
Food Fest is coming your way on March 1! This is your organization's chance to raise funds and win big! Compete to win $100 for the top dish in each category. There are limited spots available for participants, so sign up today!


Students Versus Staff Basketball Game
Deadline: Friday, Feb. 10
This year's Big Red Mania includes something new - a Student Orgs vs. Faculty/Staff basketball game. If you're ready to slam-dunk the competition, sign up today! All participants receive a free commemorative t-shirt!


Who's Who Among Students
Deadline: Thursday, Feb. 16
The Division of Student Engagement is now accepting nominations for Who's Who Among Students at Universities & Colleges until Tuesday, Feb. 16. Submit your nominations on OrgSync or visit lamar.edu/whoswho for more information.


Alternative Spring Break
Deadline: Friday, Feb. 10
Spend your spring break doing something great! We're traveling to Baton Rouge to volunteer our time to the Louisiana flood relief effort. Space is limited, so participants will be chosen based on the strength of their applications. Learn more at lamar.edu/springbreak.


Constitution Workshop Series
Do you know what's in your student organization's constitution? Does it need a serious revamp? Join us for the Constitution Series Workshop throughout February. We'll take you step by step through creating clear purposes, missions, policies, and more. RSVP on OrgSync.

We're proud to announce the opening of the Cardinals Pantry, LU's first on-campus food pantry especially for students. To donate to the Pantry or to learn more about available services, visit lamar.edu/pantry.
