Student Employment - 2014 UA Student Employee of the Year Award
As a part of National Student Employment Week (April 14th - April 18th, 2014) the University of Akron will recognize outstanding student employees and their contributions to campus.
- All students employed through the student employment program of the University of Akron (currently enrolled students: regular, Federal Work Study, and Graduate Student Assistants. Note: students on graduate assistant contracts are NOT eligible).
Eligible Terms of Employment:
- Students must have been employed for a minimum of 3 months between July 1, 2013 and May 16th, 2014 (anticipated).
NOTE: One student employee nomination per every 30 students employed by the department is allowed.
Students will be evaluated on the following qualities:
- Quality of Work
- Uniqueness of Contribution (In case of a tie, uniqueness of contribution should be the deciding factor.)
Nomination letter can be up to 400 words
All nominated students and their supervisors will be invited to attend an awards ceremony during National Student Employment Week. Mark your calendar: Friday, April 18, 12-1pm
