Club Kickoff Registration 2017

Club Kickoff is a mandatory training time for all clubs. This year we have two options: a more condensed training on Friday, October 6, 4-7pm and a more in-depth, session-filled, training on Saturday, October 7, 11am-4pm. We recommend checking out the Saturday session options before choosing Friday (you can choose the "previous" button to go back and change any answers).

Volunteers Needed!

Back 2 Bellingham is a fun-filled weekend with events happening Friday-Sunday, May 19-21. Saturday is the busiest with a carnival in Red Square, a zip line on Old Main Lawn, a BBQ, Outdoor Center excursions and Relay for Life...just to name a few. 

However, this event does not happen without a volunteer staff. As a volunteer, you could be helping with the carnival in Red Square, greeting alumni, community members, or prospective students and families.

The Center for Service-Learning: Summer Rwanda Study Abroad

Students from all levels and majors are invited to apply for an enriching cultural experience in Gashora, Rwanda, a rural village where WWU has had an exchange for the past 5 years; including sponsoring a Gashora resident in our Intensive English Program.

2017 Red Square Info Fair Registration Form

September 25th and 26th the AS will host the annual Red Square Fall Information Fair, an event that introduces incoming or returning students to the resources, programs and activities on campus and in the community. Cultural Competency Professional Development Speaker Series: Dr. Kathy Obear

The Dean of Students Cultural Competence Committee will be welcoming Dr. Kathy Obear to Western's campus, April 18th-19th. There will be open sessions for students, staff, and faculty covering cultural competency and conflict resolution. Dr. Obear is an expert at training leaders and facilitators to navigate difficult dialogues and triggering events.

For new clubs, it can be a stress-free introduction to the Publicity Center, without having to worry about getting funds; and for veterans, it's a chance to get some publicity for an important project your club has been needing.
