If your organization has selective membership, please describe the intake process.
Juniors with a GPA in the top eighth of their class and seniors in the top fifth of theirs are eligible. After a vetting process where their current and past teachers are contacted to ensure they meet the standards of integrity and ethical excellence of Tau Beta Pi, eligible students are formally invited. To be inducted they must perform community service and pay their membership dues by the deadline, usually three weeks before the induction ceremony.
