The following newsletter is sent out every week if there is information happening on campus or in the community that student organizations can benefit from. Although the announcement is sent out by the Center for Campus Life the contact for the various activities may not be in the Center for Campus Life, and will be listed in the each brief paragraph, in most cases the Center for Campus Life will not have any more information than is listed in this general email, and will direct you to the contact listed.

Registration is now open for the 2017 - 2018 year. Renew your organization before the summer break and avoid the hassle of waiting to get approved this fall.


If your organization is interested in participating during the 2017 Red Raider Orientation (RRO) Student Organization Fairs make sure you sign up ASAP. Spaces are limited.

Domonic Corradin was a sophomore in high school when a car accident severed his spinal cord and paralyzed his lower body. He wasted little time getting back to his athletic life, and found a love for hand cycling. Now he teaches and rides competitively. .

The Involvement Ambassadors are a Student Organization created to engage students in involvement opportunities. The purpose of the organization is to connect student leaders, provide resources to existing and potential student organizations, and connect new and current students to existing student organizations. Being a part of the Involvement Ambassadors is a rewarding commitment, but a commitment nonetheless.  Ambassadors are expected to handle themselves professionally while representing Texas Tech.      APPLY HERE

Host an event during Raider Welcome 2017!

Raider Welcome 2017 will take place August 20 - September 2, 2017 and is a great way to connect your organization to new students! And we will advertise the event for you! Last year, we had over 20,000 students attend Raider Welcome events in the fall. This is a great opportunity to highlight your organization and recruit new members! Don’t miss out!

RHA Presents Spring Fling

Join the Residence Halls Association in celebrating the end of the year at Joyland Amusement Park on Saturday, May 6 2017 from 2-8pm.

Need a ride? We've got you covered! Buses will rotate from 1:30-8:00pm from the SUB, Wellness Center, and Chitwood bus stops. Buses will be at stops every 30 minutes, so you can come and go from the park as you please.You're welcome to drive yourself to the park, as well. RHA will provide free admission to the park and a meal for the first 650 guests*, and t-shirts for the first 400 guests *with valid TTU student ID

'Step-Up' Peer By-Stander Presentation

Step Up is a peer to peer bystander intervention program designed to teach students when and how to intervene regarding sexual violence, bullying, hazing, and other problematic behaviors typically found in the college campus environment.

Discounted Movie Tickets!

Stars and Stripes Drive-In is offering discounted rates at the Drive-In to all groups at Texas Tech. There regular ticket prices are $8 a screen for 2 features, but for groups (20-100 people) can offer tickets at a discounted price of $6 a ticket. To set up a group rate event please contact them at (806)-744-7827.
