The Office of Interprofessional Education at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is getting ready to film a full length educational movie here at the Health Sciences Center during the month of July and are holding open auditions for it on June 9th!
The movie (mini-series) examines how health professional preceptors working in interprofessional environments can enhance student learning and optimize patient care. The series will be professionally produced by Ramar Studios/Fox 34 of Lubbock and will premiere at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in the fall.
They are holding a casting call on June 9th from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm and will be casting approximately 40 parts for the movie. The movie story-line will focus on a college aged male track athlete, his mom, and his girlfriend (also a college track athlete) as they encounter various injury and illness. They will be filming at various locations throughout Lubbock with the hope of filming some of the track scenes at the Texas Tech track.
