#TagYourOrg at What's Up Wednesday

Student Involvement will be next to Copy/Mail from 11am-2pm. Come #TagYourOrg on our Graffiti Wall and learn about ways to get involved on campus. The Most Tagged Org will win #StreetCred and be featured on Student Involvement's Social Media.

Student Leadership Series Workshop - Membership Development & Retention

Retaining and developing the members of your organization is just as important as recruiting them to join your organization. Micah Bockstruck-Martinez from Fraternity and Sorority Life and Kelsey Jackson from Student Involvement will provide you with tools and ideas on how to retain the members of your organization and how to build that sense of connectedness and commitment to the organization among your members. Student Org Officer Programming

Wednesday, November 11, 6pm, Escondido Theatre & Wednesday December 2, 6pm, SUB Lubbock Room

Risk Management Training 

In accordance with Texas Education Code, Section 51.9361, one officer from every registered student organizations is required to attend training sessions on the topic of risk management as it relates to individuals, organization functions, and/or activities.

Social fraternities and sororities and Sports Clubs are required to attend the Clay R. Warren Memorial Risk Management Retreat annually. The Center for Campus Life and/or other designated departments may require other student organizations to attend the Clay R. Warren Memorial Risk Management Retreat in order to fulfill this requirement.

Check if your organization has completed Risk Management Training. If not, make sure an officer registers on OrgSync to attend one of the remaining trainings. 
*Greek organizations, Sports Clubs and Law organizations meet their Risk Management requirement through training organized by their department and do not have to attend additional training.

Student Org Advisor Programming

Advisor Resource Roundtable

Join us on your lunch break to ask questions of other Faculty/Staff members and Student Org Advisors and learn about resources in regards to a variety of topics: Conflict Management, Officer/Organizational Development, Planning Travel, SGA Funding, Students in Crisis, & other Advisor Resources. The content will be the same for both dates, choose the date that is most convenient for you and your schedule. 

Lunch will be provided.
