OrgSync Tip of the Week: Adding Social Media Links to your Organziation's Profile

Did you know that every organization can setup links to their social media pages?
These links are visible to all users and appear in the top right of a portal's homepage.
To add new links, hover over the wrench icon on the right side of the portal's top menu then select 'Organization Settings.' If you do not see this option, you are not listed as an administrator of the portal and you will have to request a promotion from an existing administrator or from the Student Involvement staff. You can request this access by emailing StudentOrgs@ttu.edu.
If you are able to access the settings, navigate to the 'Social Media Links' tab. Here you will find the ability to input your social media links. Currently, OrgSync supports the following social media sites: Facebook, Flickr, Google Plus, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Tumblr, Twitter, & YouTube.
For each entry, only enter the unique portion of the URL that identifies your organization's webpage. If you have any questions about what to enter, look below each text box. The unique portion, what you should add, is highlighted in orange. Reference the screenshot above for an example. After inputting the necessary information, click 'Save' at the bottom of the change to finalize the process.
At any time, you can go back and edit these links. Simply revisit this page to make your desired changes.
