Fraternity and Sorority Alcohol/Substance Free Event Funding Application
In an effort to encourage fraternities and sororities to host Alcohol/Substance Free Events, the Center for Campus Life will be piloting an opportunity for fraternities and sororities to apply for funding to help support these events during the fall 2013 and spring 2014 semesters. Criteria and application information is listed below.
Event: A registered fraternity and sorority must host the event. The event must be alcohol and substance free, and be held on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night between 9 P.M. and 2 A.M., and should involve at least two organizations (both must be registered as a Student Organization at TTU).
Funding: A total of up to $10,000 may be awarded for the fall and spring semester (up to $5000 per semester). Fraternities and sororities will be reimbursed for expenses related to the event. All University fiscal policies and procedures will apply.
Deadline to apply for funding: Fall: October 1, 2013; spring: February 3, 2014.
