Nov 7, 2016 by Jose Napoles
Sacramento State’s Student Organizations & Leadership invites you to attend the 2017 Spring Diversity Leadership Conference. Please complete your conference registration no later than Friday, January 6th.
The theme of the conference is #NoFilter. #NoFilter is intended to create a space for students to remove their biases, question their realities and be open to dialogue in an effort to create more empathy in the Sac State community. Our Leadership Conferences are open to all students. In an effort to be more student centered, YOU, the students will be crucial in deciding the topics that are covered during the conference. The topics have to be related to social justice and diversity but we are aware that not everyone is familiar with these areas. Therefore, the conference will have two levels: (1) to learn skills and basic knowledge around the topics of diversity & social justice and (2) more advanced topics/workshops to enhance and learn skills to build on and advance your leadership skills around the topics of diversity & social justice.
Student Organizations & Leadership's 2017 Spring Diversity Leadership Conference will be held on Wednesday, January 18th from 9:00am to 4:00pm and will include:
- Educational Sessions
- Networking with Other Student Leaders
- Working Spaces
- Nuts & Bolts Workshop
- And PRIZES!
