Organization Overview

The UWRF Men's lacrosse team is a club sport competing at a varsity level. We accept all students interested in learning the sport regardless of prior experience. We strive to teach and expand the sport in the community. Players are required to provide their own equipment, but some equipment is available for those interested in trying the sport before making a commitment. We compete in the Great Lakes Lacrosse League, playing against regional schools. Games occur on the weekend and the team travels together. Along with regular seasonal play in the spring the team participates in a fundraiser game at the Xcel Center after Minnesota Swarm game. Practices are Monday and Thursday from 4-6pm at the intramural fields. While we are competitive we encourage academics come first and understand if there is a class conflict with practice.
