2014-2015 Law Student Division Liaison to the
Forum Committee on Air and Space Law

Application Deadline: October 15, 2014.

The Law Student Division appoints student liaisons to the over 60 ABA specialty practice areas each year. These Liaisons represent the Law Student Division to their appointed ABA specialty practice entity, work with those specialty practice areas to develop law student programs and services, and report to the Division on issues pertaining to law students that arise at entity meetings. Recently, the liaison position to the ABA Forum Committee on Air and Space became available and applications are now being accepted for consideration through October 15, 2014.

The Forum Committee on Air and Space Law focuses on the legal, regulatory, and policy issues that arise in the air transportation and commercial space industries. Forum membership is primarily comprised of aviation and space lawyers from both the public and private sectors. They represent government agencies, including the Department of Transportation (DOT), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), as well as airlines, aerospace manufacturers and service providers, travel distribution companies, travel agencies, tour operators, airports, the financial and insurance communities, and business and general aviation interests.
